The family of iPods are some of the most awesome MP3 players available on the market today. Everyone should have one for their music and video needs, but which iPod has the features you want? Here's the run down on the latest iPod models.

iPod Shuffle

This is the cheapest model of iPod available. It is only $49 for 1 GB and $69 for 2 GB, but you can only use it to shuffle your music. You cannot pick which song you want to listen to. They are very small and have a convenient clip. Good if you just need something to listen

to while you exercise or if you aren't concerned about control over your music. They come in five colors.

iPod Nano

This is the mid-range iPod: the iPod everyman. They are more expensive, but still affordable and start at $149 for 8 GB and run to $199 for 16 GB. They play video, music, some games and also hold pictures. They are small enough to fit in a pocket comfortably and are very versatile. Great if you want an iPod but don't need a lot of memory, or if you don't have a lot of money. They come in nine awesome colors.

iPod Classic

These are the Rolls Royce of iPods. A bit bigger than you may want, but they have a ton of space: 120 GB for $249. They play video, music, games and hold pictures. With all that space an iPod Classic can even hold movies. They're pretty awesome, but they only come in two colors: black and white. They are perfect if you have a ton of music and video, or if you travel a lot and need something to do on long flights.

iPod Touch

As the new kid on the block the iPod Touch is more expensive than an iPod Classic and has less memory. They are $229 for 8 GB, $299 for 16 GB and $399 for 32GB. However, one very cool thing about the iPod Touch is you have internet access through Wi-Fi networks. They can play movies, music and a ton of games, plus you can go online with them to look up websites or check your

e-mail . Also, the entire screen is touch sensitive, and it is much larger than the iPod Classic and has stunning resolution. If you need to be online at all times or love the lastest tech, this is the iPod for you.

All of these iPods are available at the Apple store.
