About Me

I've been working in the computer industry for nearly ten years, but have been playing video games since the early days of the Atari 2600. I divide my gaming time between my Windows PC and my new Sony PlayStation 3. I'm always on the hunt for a great RPG.

I am current playing:

  • Fallout 3 on PC
  • Call of Duty 5: World at War on PC
  • Soul Calibur IV on PS3

My Experience

My first computer was an Apple IIgs, since then I've owned about 10 different PC's. I think Apple makes great computers, but they just aren't for me. If I wasn't a PC gamer, then I would probably own a Mac just because they are so much less hassle. I still sometimes miss the good old days of PC gaming where you needed a custom boot disk just to make a game run.

  • Call of Duty 5 features 13 maps available for online play, and this article covers the Upheaval map. The premise of this map is that you are fighting in a city area, so there are lots of buildings to go into and hide. This is like a miniature version of the Outskirts map, but without tanks.

  • Call of Duty 5: World at War Game Map Guide - Seelow

  • Call of Duty 5 features 13 maps available for online play, and this article covers the Seelow map. The premise of this map is that you are fighting on an old farm, so there’s a big open field in the middle, a large bridge, and various barns and farmhouses. Tanks are also available on this map.

Living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast can really suck sometimes where there's a hurricane looming in the Gulf of Mexico. It's supposed to hit land sometime between Monday and Tuesday, so we'll just see what happens. I already lost everything I owned in Katrina, and I'm not looking forward to another big hurricane again. At least this time I don't live on the beach any more.
